One of the advantages of coin operated binoculars is that you don’t have to carry a pair wherever you are, and even you have a light weight binocular it is difficult to store and carry it. But all tourist spots do not have coin operated binoculars, and binoculars are quite necessary if you are out on an expedition like bird watching. Coin operated binoculars can be accessed while sitting too, for the convenience of people on wheel chairs. While using a binocular if the image is small the field of view is wide, and magnification is lesser and in case of high magnification the field size decreases.

Here is a great video showing some coin operated binoculars being used in the freshly released GTA 4. I have never seen any coin operated binoculars in any other video game. It goes to show binoculars are useful for both enjoying yourself and whatever you want to call the goings on in GTA 4. It’s a pretty cool video, enjoy it!

I love going to the see side and having a look at the birds (including the flying ones!). Coin operated binoculars help me to do that because you don’t have to carry them around everywhere. Admittedly light weight binoculars are an alternative, but sometimes I just prefer to take it easy and use a coin operated binocular.

I have some old very fond memories of squabbling with my sister over who gets to look down the coin operated binoculars next. The beach in England is rarely warm enough to lay around on the sand. However, there are some estuaries with lots of bird life which makes coin operated binoculars more enjoyable than in most places.
